As for quilting, I like the idea of the square stippling, geometric meandering as me toned above.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16902931991446033427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722669456248196153.post-28838734637607631632014-12-15T15:45:58.253-08:002014-12-15T15:45:58.253-08:00I love it! I like the idea of an all over box pattern like Angela Walters does. I like how you arranged the colors from too to bottom. It's very striking! Oh, and I don't like the AMB solids at all. Glad you do, though! I felt bad seeing as they are made in the USA and all...✾Jamie Lee Cooley✾https://www.blogger.com/profile/07208832897656210176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722669456248196153.post-3216509757044632302014-12-13T21:45:29.177-08:002014-12-13T21:45:29.177-08:00Beautiful quilt! Yo...I just pieced my first quilt top with AMB, too. You hit the nail right on the head: it doesn't have the hand of a Bella Solid or a Kona. It's different in a way I can't explain. If you were to do it again, would you go down in needle size, like, to a 10? (I think that's what Hawthorne Threads recommends on its new fabrics, which also have a high thread count.)Michelle @ From Bolt to Beautyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04859748817323229803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722669456248196153.post-37210521233895456282014-12-13T11:43:27.627-08:002014-12-13T11:43:27.627-08:00So gorgeous! But the grid also since cool (and probably faster/easier). :)Darciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07042146162065193774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722669456248196153.post-72968026042406214652014-12-12T09:09:16.347-08:002014-12-12T09:09:16.347-08:00Oh I love how this turned out! Somehow it just seems to be asking for mostly straight lines...Yvonne from Quilting Jetgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705160384198590025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4722669456248196153.post-75085886559332311052014-12-12T08:30:17.605-08:002014-12-12T08:30:17.605-08:00It's beautiful, Audrey!
