WIP: The Edition Where I've Lost My Mind

I think we're entering into intervention season. Days after I made my December list, I've got to rework it because I decided to take on another lap quilt. (Why do I do these things to myself? Is this perhaps a sign of instability?)

But I'm excited! And the quilt was actually my husband's idea, so I'll blame him. He even offered to help. (The man helped me trim HSTs a few weeks ago because he's a crazy nice guy, so maybe I can have him do some chain-piecing for me?)

In the meantime, I've got to finish up my other projects, and fast!

There was no way I was going to get a baby-free shot. Enjoy the chubby baby fingers!

Advent calendar. Needs binding!
And back to work...but maybe after checking out a few other blogs linked up to Freshly Pieced!

Edit: The Mario Mushroom block is from the Super Mario QAL, just in case you were wondering!

  2. Ha ha! What would the reality television show for craft interventions be called, do you think? Your Mario Mushroom block is so cute, especially with the added baby fingers.

  5. I love the Mario quilt (and the chubby baby fingers). I just saw you are doing the Make it Modern bee too. I am so excited to be bee mates with you.

  6. Your mushroom is gorgeous! Well done. I haven't done mine yet. It is difficult to get baby free picture, I have the same problem too!

  7. Ha! I love this! The only Nintendo game I ever played as a child was the Mario Game. So this just makes me super happy! It looks so fun. I think it would be a great gift to make for my video-game-addict-brother-in-law some time. So cute!

P.S. The only way I get baby free photos is to take mine at midnight after they've gone to sleep.

    So cute!

  8. I did not even know there was a Mario QAL. Brilliant! We definitely need one of those as a cushion :)
