But I'm excited! And the quilt was actually my husband's idea, so I'll blame him. He even offered to help. (The man helped me trim HSTs a few weeks ago because he's a crazy nice guy, so maybe I can have him do some chain-piecing for me?)
In the meantime, I've got to finish up my other projects, and fast!
There was no way I was going to get a baby-free shot. Enjoy the chubby baby fingers! |
Advent calendar. Needs binding! |
Edit: The Mario Mushroom block is from the Super Mario QAL, just in case you were wondering!
I really want to make some of those Mario blocks for pillows... The mushroom looks great!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! What would the reality television show for craft interventions be called, do you think? Your Mario Mushroom block is so cute, especially with the added baby fingers.
ReplyDeleteI like the mushroom. The baby is good for showing scale.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, a Mario mushroom!!! Seriously the coolest idea ever. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Mario quilt (and the chubby baby fingers). I just saw you are doing the Make it Modern bee too. I am so excited to be bee mates with you.
ReplyDeleteYour mushroom is gorgeous! Well done. I haven't done mine yet. It is difficult to get baby free picture, I have the same problem too!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love this! The only Nintendo game I ever played as a child was the Mario Game. So this just makes me super happy! It looks so fun. I think it would be a great gift to make for my video-game-addict-brother-in-law some time. So cute!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The only way I get baby free photos is to take mine at midnight after they've gone to sleep.
So cute!
I did not even know there was a Mario QAL. Brilliant! We definitely need one of those as a cushion :)
ReplyDeleteI believe they will make an excellent addition to any Mario-friendly homes! :)
